Eliminate guesswork with smarter location data

When it comes to resolving community issues, even the best service teams can’t act without clear location data. In fact, delays caused by unclear or incorrect locations are one of the biggest contributors to response time blowouts.

At Snap Send Solve, we’ve rolled out a range of updates designed to ensure you receive accurate, high-quality Snaps every time—because better information means faster, smarter resolutions.

Why we invest in location accuracy

We believe Solving community issues shouldn’t start with a guessing game. That’s why our platform is designed to collect structured, consistent, and accurate data at the very first touchpoint—reducing the back and forth, saving your team time, and boosting satisfaction for everyone involved.

From in-app prompts to smart verification features, we’re helping Solvers like you eliminate confusion, streamline fieldwork, and improve customer experience.

When a community member reports an issue, the clock starts ticking. Every minute spent clarifying locations is a minute that could be spent resolving the problem. Our recent platform updates focus on one critical goal: ensuring your team arrives at the exact location of reported issues on the first visit.

Our comprehensive location accuracy updates have been rolled out to all 850+ Solver’s on the Snap Send Solve platform and include:

Multi-angle photo guidance

We now prompt Snappers to capture multiple angles when attaching photos to their Snap Send Solve reports, providing both a detailed view of the issue and critical context about location and risk profile.

Missing location alerts

When a photo is missing location data, we:

  • Alert the Snapper immediately
  • Provide an interactive map to pin the exact location
  • Allow zoom functionality for precise placement, ensuring every request comes with accurate location information your teams can trust

Location mismatch prevention

To prevent accidental location changes, we've implemented alerts when a map pin doesn't match image location data, ensuring consistency between visual and coordinate information.

Custom location questions: A game-changer for field teams

The City of Port Phillip in Victoria is maximising their efficiency by using Snap Send Solve to balance a great customer experience while getting all the information needed to triage service requests accurately.

By adding specific prompts like “Which of the following descriptions best describes the dumped rubbish?” and "Is the waste at the front, side or rear of the property?", has helped cut response time.

These questions can be added to any category type to get the full picture upfront and are easily updated when your requirements change.

These tailored questions:

  • Provide critical context before field teams arrive
  • Reduce the need full-up communications for clarification
  • Help prioritise resources appropriately
  • Can be updated as operational needs evolve
