A Soar in Playground Equipment Snaps

Snaps relating to broken playground equipment have soared in the past year.

From January to November of 2023 there have been 3,254 Snaps, an increase of 23% from the previous year.

Herald Sun reporter, Suzan Delibasic, interviewed Snapper Nick Vinciullo about his recent encounter with some broken play equipment.

Taking his children to a local park, Nick noticed that a spinning toy had fallen off and left a dangerous piece of metal poking up.

“Thankfully, as soon as I reported it, someone came right out to fit it”.
