When it comes to calling out bad parking, Victorians have taken the lead, earning the title of Australia’s most active “dobbers” in 2024. According to our latest data, Victorians Snapped 79,735 instances of illegal parking in 2024 — a 32% increase from 2023.

Illegal parking Snaps surge nationwide

It’s not just Victorians getting vocal — illegal parking reports surged across the country in 2024, with a total of 193,000 Snaps submitted. Here’s how other states stacked up:

  • New South Wales: 66,293 complaints, up 33%.
  • Queensland: 24,486 complaints, a massive 56% jump.
  • Western Australia: 15,027 complaints, increasing by 47%.
  • South Australia: 5,429 complaints, up 25%.
  • Tasmania: 1,772 complaints, a 36% rise.
